nah only did the left guard, aerial other side would the amp be crapping out ?

so just randomly after my ute came back from the panel beaters it gets this annoying sound that gets louder the more the turbo kicks in so was looking at stereo filters but not sure what one to get there 5amp 20amp etc, have pioneer HU and 600w sony 4ch amp ?

cool thanks yeah i only have a 2.5 air compressor, do have a 10hp 3 phase one but its out of action for time being, so you reakon the gravity feed type would be ok for 2.5 hp compressor ?

looking at getting a sand blaster from super cheap, they have two types, gravity feed hopper one think its 60 bux and a tube feed suck the sand outta the bucket type, which ones better ?

well my brother vitara with g16a wont start and i cant work it out ive tested the coil pack and i'm getting 11.8 with the ignition on so i guess that fine but i'm getting no spark looked at the dizzy bt everything looks ok the dizzy rota could be replaced as its pitted but the weird thing was it went fine then bang no spark ? also it hasnt got your normal contacts rather then the small caliper type open close little aligator type thing it has no moving parts bar the dizzy rota of course, just a what looks like a little box magnet instead of those little jaws they usally have? so i dunno whats the haps there but yeah no spark but getting 11.8 reading from the coil pack with the ignition on acc ? any help ?

ah ok now i'm confused thought i had it sussed jumped in to head to work and it turned over barely wouldnt start, anyways i thought oh well i'll just chuck in this new battery i bought last night..... well it did the same thing barely turned over, taken new battery back now as i dont need it repco tested it it was fine.... so something is wrong besides the battery? also tried to jump it and didnt make any difference... so maybe its the starter motor ? it turns over real sick sounding tho so i'm confused as hell ?

just had a quick google and battery shouldnt drop below 9v whilst cranking or if 9.9 no lower than 9.6v read 0.3v is least your spose to losse whilst cranking, well my battery is shot in that case! i think just running it low with the amp one day finished it off

just tested it then while starting up gave me 8v reading then 7 6 down to 5v and got tired pretty quick also i d/c the amp last night too so it wouldnt have been raping it, i think the bttry is just plain poked, after i tesed it cranking over i put volt meter over it while off and it dropped down to 11.4v as b4 i tested was reading 12.5 with car off so yeah might be new battery!

yep done tha got 12.7 with car off, tested it this morn and has dropped to 12.5v which is normal i'd say as i tested it straight after a run

ah cool yup got ya, yup got 12v batt, ground to neg and remote to headunit, will test ignition tomorrow and let you know what happens, can i just test the ignition fuse in the cab fuse box ? rather then pull the steering covers of etc ?

anmeter is that the one with the little light ? also could i test that from the ignition fuse ? just be easier

well i put the volt meter across the pos and neg of the amp and shows 12v going to the amp all the time which is right isnt it ? amp auto on and auto of work i think as the green light goes on and off ? amp is second hand 600w sony 4ch if that helps

after installing a amp ive noticed my battery has been playing up really strange, problems started after i left my car on for 25mins with the amp on with stereo going jumped in my car and battery was flat had to crash start, straight after that it was sweet, then every so often it will just play up for no reason will be fine for 10 starts then randomly be gay, to need to crash or jump start, no real pattern, put volt meter over battery while running and getting 13.7v so battery seems fine, maybe a bad earth earth on the amp ? I'm not sure but any advice would be good thanks. !

was in wharehouse today and looking at amp wiring kits, they had a 4g kit down form 80 too 40bux so i grabbed it will that be ok for what i want ? thought i better grab it just incase it was a good deal, if not can always take back ?

yeah i think the 840 is a go! might ask if he can throw in an amp kit if i hit buy now, gotta be cheeky !

yeah i dont want hardout sounds just want my speakers to go better and cleaner, the sony is cheaper might go for that!
