  1. that guys a legend, and asking reasonable prices too, people adveretising their cars on trademe should take a leaf out of his book, ie. the guy who's asking five grand for his white ke25

thats a mean car, I know that guy fairly well..... you get a shitload of bits with it, mags, diffs, struts, big front brakes, blah blah blah.....

best ke25 I've ever seen, I'd pay $3500 prolly for just the car.... not many around, let alone ones as mint as his

  2. dude needs to get real

it'd be way cheaper to go and get a 302, celica 5speed, front suspension from hell, extractors-no exhaust, mate them together and go wreak absolute havok around the place.

I'd rather sandblast all my skin off....

Formula Atlantic 4age pwns you

  3. Lowlancer, the carb has mechanical secondarys so u dont ned to worry bout screwing with the vacume. When you get it, turn it up side down and twist the throttle level, you'll see the small throat open and then about half way thru the twist the larger throat will open and you'l see why!

this is why real men drive carbs! non of that efi witch craft! :P

    Def'

efi pwns your face. True story

  4. 35psi of mad vt@k stlyez yo!

have fun finding an s2000 gearbox though vtec run anticlockwise I'm pretty sure.....

youh, i'm pretty sure the vt@k run anticlockwise...... so you'd therefore have to use an s2000 gearbox - hondas only (post 1970s) RWD.... of course the NSX is rear but they're midmount so it wouldnt be of any use....

  5. hah, sounds like they're blowing a fat wad of vt@k right there...... with rotors it's become such a state of worship for little homos trying to get people to do the big daaaaang DAAAAANG!!! shit....

shitkicks and rotaries - like moths to a flame

  6. Imagine all the buzzed out people riding mopeds. lol

there is less people that smoke pot in holland then NZ bro.

most of the ones in Holland are visitors from over seas.

i've always said that that shit should be legalised! it takes so much hassels away. trust me, it would do the world a world of good.

as much good as dropping the age of consent to 12.... pfft, I'd love to hear what merit decriminalising cannabis would have on society...

  7. Boy racer

That is now a bad word thanks to the media. Call me what you will, but judge me with the same laws as everyone else. Why should I have my car impounded for speeding (under the buy racer law)when the man in the white toyota corolla just gets a ticket, just because I have mags and have lowered my car. Should we all drive white corolla's. Or should I get a 1968 v8 Camaro so I don't class as a jap racer! then would the boy racer law apply? If the media keeps pushing, and public keep beleaving what they are told, soon all modifcations will be baned, (laugh all you like v8 boys this means you too!!!)and we will all be driving white toyota corolla's, what next???!!! will the women have to cover their faces and the men grow beards?? Prosecute anyone breaking the law in a car!! but treat them all the same! no special laws!!!

    sound about right

    holla

  8. Hey Miniman, do you guys run the little bracket that lowers the steering column for a better driving position?

    Regards Eddie

easy as to make, a must on minis with race seats..... even with stock seats it makes a huge difference, well worth doing...

retard: make sure you dont tighten it up too far, waterpumps on minis bite it hard if they're too tight, seal will be leaking shit everywhere faster than a samoan thats had a bad feed of k-fry

    holla

  9. lol, every mini i've been in does 100kph easy..... my sister's (stock 998,with a fuxored carb(all worn and shit)) will do 150, 140 is easy for it, even with 4 fat fuckers in it (bumpstopped lol)

  10. get a rwd waterpump, and if it's a bigport 4agze get hold of a rwd bluetop inlet manifold, otherwise you will have to cut the throttle off one end, weld it on the other..

use rwd flywheel and clutch etc, 4agze items wont fit the bellhousing

    ae86/ae70 engine mounts, ae70 crossmember

T50 will die after a little while, w55 conversion would be the go

  11. and can I ask here of CaM

May be you can help me Please I am puzzeled by your coment to replace the rear bias valve with a tee why is this the thing to do. My round nose mini shell is due soon back from painting and I have 1275 GT braking componants to fit as the above reply. As I got this all in bits I didn't see how this was all plumed up and a 1275 GT I have a pic of doesn't show the pressure failure switch which is quite large a 140 mm long "H" shaped valve it has a standard mini tee on the firewall around where this would mount. The way I thought to plum this up was the master cylinder has two short pipes down to the pressure failure switch from out of the bottom of this and inline with the pipe that is lowest on the master I was going to connect to the front discs and the other to the back standard mini pressure regulating valve seeing as I don't have the 1275 GT rear inertia valve. I look forward to your comments on this as I only want to set up and bleed this lot once and need to get the brake lines right before I drop the shell over the sunframe which already has the 1275 Alegro lump, twin 1 1/2, and extractors on it.

    Cheers

    Roy

the rear bias valve on single circuit braking system minis is located down where the line splits from one line to two at the front of the rear subframe... when you run twin circuit master cylinder, along with the aforementioned pressure failure switch (the h shaped one) you no longer need this as it's all taken care of by the pressure failure switch and the master cylinder.... if you dont substitute the rear bias valve down the back for a tee then the rear brakes wont be very efficient at all... 1275gts dont have one of these, they have a tee instead.... have a look at one if you're still confused...

I picked up this, luckily, as i was putting all mine back together - had a 1275gt as a donor car...

    hopefully explained that clearly....

  12. with brakes, I was going to use fronts off a metro turbo (vented with AP lockheed Four pots  standard)

not the easiest disc brakes (1275gt and cooper s bolt on) but they're mint... just need pre 1982 metro ball joints, mini steering arm, small mod to brake lines... you will not outdrive these brakes, they're awesome

1275gt brakes I'd go for if you dont do that as I'm told cooper s ones are alomost $2000 to get a decent set.... but you dont get 4 pots

a pre 1982 metro set will go on with just the pipe mod and steering arms, but they aren't vented......

engine, make sure you get a good one, a rusted out metro would be mint,or a rusted 1275 gt.... morris 1300s have slightly different einge mounts so you would have to use your gearbox, also, get the late model "pot" type CV driveshaft gearbox, rubber cross gearboxes (your mays have one of these) are gay, the crosses fuck out all the time.... even cooler would be a universal joint type cooper box lol...

1275s are really asthmatic in comparisson to a 998, they only have a 1.5" carb (998s love these) which is far too small... again, chuck twin carbs at it, extractors (cooper long centre branch type-coby do a good set) and you're away..... modifying an allegro or morris 1300 radiator to fit ad not foul the subfrome wouldn't hurt either, they're quite a bit bigger, and try and get a really early MK1 4 blade fan, they're noisy but flow way more air, and suck less power.

after this - bags of torque, even more fun than it is now...... my 1275 used to spin the wheels into top gear, and it was stock haha

but yeah, make sure you do decent brakes, thats one thing I never had, soon as you get drums warm they suck - i used to constantly have mine smoking..... 1275 master cylinder would be cool too, they're twin circuit which helps even drum brakes (just remember to change the rear bias valve to a tee)

as long as you keep it cool, and dont thrash it too much, it'll be a mean little car, will show up a few unweary drivers as well
