Damn you NZ kind hearted dudes with good connections
-
That would be nice.
Care to find a President in Australia though?! I don't know of any.
-
Downfalls I think -
- Pretty small screen, which doesn't tilt or anything
- Eye-piece is good but again, doesn't tilt upwards
- The manual focus is a bit gay (but then, most cameras at this price range dont even have it)
I believe the new Century (as in '97) are all V12 (I could be wrong!).

Thanks for comments guys , I'll let him know about this site.
Q. What camera were you using , with what lens?
Fuji Finepix S 5600 standard lens
Q. What apeture and exposure setting?
Aperture about 3 , exposure varied from 100, 200 and 400.
Q. Are those photo post-editted in any way?
Yes, most of them are (I'm better with PS than a camera )
Q. And... surely a tripod was used?
Yes!

My mate recently got a Toyota Century. Sooo naturally, I wanted to take some photos. It was our Sunday adventure
Ching! Fender mirrrorrzz
First stop, back alley. Unfortunately it was a No Standing area, and I shit you not we took no more than one photo before Mr. Inspector came walking around the corner. So we escaped like loonies.
Badassness ensues.
So Jdm...
Gangster.
JDM BROS!
Andy wanted to go to the casino for obligitory glitzy shot, so next location !
The valet dudes were awesome, and let us take shots right outside the main entrance. They were gobsmacked by the car and kept checking it out, which was cool considering what they must deal with on a daily basis.
There was a lovely road I took note of on the way to the Casino, so we went back for a couple more to end the day.
FInal detail shots!
An excellent time was had by all.
THE END !

I heard that Nissan were going to use the VQ30DE out of the 350Z and put a couple of small turbos on it for JDM and for the US they were going to use an NA V8 because yanks don't know how to look after cars.
Nah won't happen.
And the supra was apparantly to follow a similar path with a 5.0L V8 for the Lexus or high spec model, while the JDM models will have a turbo 3.5 V6.I'd say V8 or V10, same engine throughout. But it's all rumours atm so who knows.
Either way, I'm gutted to see the demise of icons like the 2JZ-GTE and the RB26DETT, but these things do happen and the replacements from Nissan and Toyota are amazing engines so it can't be all bad.For sure man, the VQ is pretty good but dunno, V6's don't sound good IMO. I know I know, the sound isn't important from a performance perspective but honestly, it means a lot to me.

Draizuh man,
Porsche = flat six
Skyline = straight six
New GT-R = V6, not V8.
There's nothing wrong with a V8, especially ones that come from Italy. YUM!!! How can you say the sound of a 355 is "old hat" ?

^ Best post yet.

hmmm well I don't think you do understand.. unless you were refering to the employees of such companies. Basically it shows what happens when the workers get too much power.. they put themselves out of a job.
You do realise the article disagrees adamantly with you? It is the banks' fault, according to that site. These types of websites make me lol. They always seem so wanky - they are the electronic version of the crazy dude preaching the end of the world at a street corner in New York.
Really, you're all agreeing with the main issue. The large American behemoths can't compete. Sure their product may be considered inferior, but look at sales. They still sell a lot. It's the massive overheads (in & out of their control), flawed business planning/foresight and DUMB engineering that means they simply cannot compete.
The effects are widespread. Ford certainly have been cutting costs in Aus with massive layoffs and IIRC a couple of plant closures.
But don't think for a minute Ford or GM are about to file Chapter 11. America can't afford it.
That's my cafe politics for the day. Gah.

Awesome, needs oil cooler out the front, with tubing through one of the parker (guessing that's what they are) lights there. FTW

you'd really have to want it..

lol,
So I had to go to the post office today, so put the camera in my car "just in case". What happened to be parked right outside the Post Office? WRX with huge fuckoff wing!
The best part is the "trolley bay" sign in front of it
Next one . . . . Your car in the carpark of a Childcare centre

haha
Apologies for the crap photo, there is seriously NO street lighting down there.
You get the idea...
Next challenge.... a picture of your car at a petrol station at petrol bowser number ONE.

Nah I don't know what it says ... but I'm guessing it's just a summary of the "report" I gave them as it says I wrote it!
It was in Nostalgic Hero , volume 117.
