Yea planning some smaller rims with bigger tires, currently running 205/40/17's...

Unsure how to setup lower boost on just the launches before research but for now keen to keep getting the hang of things on the track. I had a blast and stoked on the time. It certainly is alot different talking up a time then getting out there and doing it.

Basically got 2 runs of 15 flat with loads of wheelspin, so chilled on the lauches and changed techniqued and dropped to a 14.2, then did a best of 13.8 for today. Keen to change rear wheels for next meet for more traction and keep on sorting out lauch techniques as need more practice.

I think I have a new addiction haha... That was so fun! Boy is drag racing a whole lot different than I imagined. Good to meet Bart and Graham (cheers for the tips!). Am amping for the next meet now and keen to make a some changes before it to.

Got out of twizel job so will be attending these now. Don't have a log book though, not sure what the deal is there, have to get one on the day? I'll just rock up and see what happens. Anyone else off here going?

When is the next drag day after this one? Looks like I'm going to twizel to do a job next Wednesday so am going to miss this one now dammit.

Yea all the safety bits and pieces. He is such a gc, has had so many sweet cars and knows shitloads about capris etc, know who to ask if anything goes wrong that's for sure.

Are you talking bout the kaikoura track? Just roll up whenever, it's in middle of nowhere, low cars are fucked to get in though. Went in there in my van to have a look and it isn't that low but road in is rough as a mother fucker, onlty like 50 metres but super rough, track is mean place to cain by te looks but by far from amazing.

its got cosworth pistons, steel h beam rods. prob 7500rpm ish. will see i suspose lol. did u get 340hp atw!!!

Haha na man! I got around 265hp. You smoked me haha, my turbo has run out of puff. I'm not keen to go above 6500rpm on 205 rods..

Hmm..not sure, 400hp at the wheels is a fuckload for a pinto but then even if that car is light as fuck, running 9's isn no easy task so I'm not sure..
