Back in Hamilton and not working long hours on a farm any more so no excuses now. Will try make it out to the next car meet to say hello

Me = lazy! Just visit here for a read most of the time. I should stop being lazy and post more, also have to come out for drive sometime to meet everyone. Cant drive my 626 at the moment so just driving round in a boring car but will have 626 back on the road for summer

It is the aussie mag and said last issue on the site so thought I had better order them fast while I can still get them. Have they been in magazine shops or have you just ordered them over the net???

I am not sure but from a chat with someone else playing with a capri he had been told the power steering from a e30 bmw should bolt in. As I said not sure but could be worth checking out. There was a few of us standing round talking about this and one of the other guys knows heaps about bmws and he said that the e30 ps rack sounds the same as the capri one from how the capri guy described it. Hope my crazy ramble is of some help.

So how much difference between the sc12 and the sc14???

They are low compresion 8.5:1 factory so that shouldnt be a problem but yeah tuning it could be challanging. I say do it and tell us what happens cause I have always wondered what would happen if I bolted a supercharger in to my 626. I am already running injected motor in mine which would make it easier but was looking at the bigger supercharger out of a toyota estemia/previa people mover cars. Hope the head injury heals well delanal, Im sitting round recovering from accident related surgery to.

Good to see some pics. I was stuck in hospital so missed it but did get to watch the mystery creek stage on skytv saturday night. What happened to the burn out comp, I haven't heard anything about it at all.

Thanks for that. I see they have finally got stage start times on the targa website. I was hoping to go but cant get out of my appointments that day so will just have to make do with the tv coverage and photos. Anyone going photos would be great.

So does any one the stage start times. I just had a look at the targa website and they got the maps up now but no stage start times.

So are the police doing anything or are they to busy handing out tickets for minor driving offences. Lots of people are talking about the person steeling the cars so cant be to difficult for the police to have a look at if it is that guy.

I did a bit of club level racing in one years ago and had so much fun. I always thought they would make a good project car. The one we used was the rear engine rear wheel drive coupe. We had ideas at the time of what else can we fit in to make this go faster.

Can you get any photos of the cars that were stolen

Found the car this afternoon on the edge of Hamilton. They took wheels, steering wheel and sounds but George the dog was still sitting in the car.

Just got the car back to my place and the police are coming out to finger print it sometime in the next couple of days.

Not that one but same shape. My mate that owns it lives in Te awamutu but is in Hamilton lots. It was stolen from Birds liquorsave 5xroads.

There is now a reward offered for the return of the dog.

A mates 86 mazda luce was stolen in Hamilton last night. Rego number sp7904 and it is silver gray with chrome 17s. It was last seen in Mardon road. There dog was in the car and so is gone to. The dog is a black staffie cross. If any one knows any thing about this pm, txt or phone me. 027 4320926.

The crown would be interesting, but ute so much easier to find. The was a ute round hamilton way a while ago that had engine conversion. I was told it had 300zx engine in it.

Make sure its serviced and tuned right to start with.

Check spark plugs/leads/points/air filter etc are ok first then after that i would go with the extractors, electric radiator fan, elec distributor?

Was a good day, just a bit cold. The starlet was the only one that got a ticket that I know of. The guy in the RX3 was let off after a warning ( was talking to the driver of the car behind him and he said he saw what happened and cop was just trying to make something out of nothing). The rota van was pulled up to but cop told the van driver just wanting to know how to put different engine into his own van.

Fav car of the day was the supra with the supercharged toyota v8 in it.
