  1. rotaries go bloody well for what they are, i've got a 12a bridge in my mk2 escort and it'd eat most escorts out there probably. if built well and maintained they are very relaiable, it's only ppl that buy them, not having a clue on how they work or how to maintain them that give them a bad name coz they don't look after them and thrash the fuck out of them till they blow up. mine is goin strong as. rotas for life :twisted:

  2. it's a 12a turbo block with a tall port centre plate and n/a rotas in it. and jus got a series 1 rx7 5 speed. and atropine, that was the first fine i've had for speeding, the others have been for restricted license crap. i jus happened to be givin it a bit of shit in the wrong place at the wrong time, cop was probly 300m away headin in the opposite direction and didn't show me proof of a reading so i wrote in tryin to get off it. jus another cunty cop pickin on me coz i drive a rota.

  3. havn't done any line locks in it yet, but it seems to step out and spin both when i give it a bit of shit, 3rd gear sideways in the rian is pretty scary shit haha. it seems to be handling the shit alrite, g box is on the way out i think tho. if i had a weber ida on it and a decent twin system exhaust it would be up round the 200hp mark probably. fucken quick for a little 12a. and yeah it is the gun metal grey one on reflexes. i think it mite be parked up for a while soon tho, got a speeding ticket and i've run out of demerits so think i'm gonna lose my license, fuck the police.

  4. chuck a 12a in it, i've got a mk2 4 door wif a 12a bridge in it, hook second and it steps out sumfin wicked, they didn't have to chop it up too much, could have chopped more tho to make it a bit roomier round the gearbox. i'll try sort sum pics out soon wif mates digi cam.

  5. can you get lsd heads that will bolt into a mk2 diff housing? and are the 1600 sport diffs bigger and stronger than a 1300 one? i've got a mk2 escort wif a 12a bridge, and don't imagine the diff will hold out for too long. any help appreciated, cheers.

    Mods to them: rx7- 13b bridgeport, engine detailed, white rotor housings, gold endplates, full re spray in 2k white bout 2 months ago, lowered lots, 17 inch advanti raptors, tints, mint origianl seats, monsta tach, pressure and temp gauges etc, yeah, goes hard as :twisted:

    i forget how i found out about this site, think it was from a link on badrotor when it was running, not much else to add, jus "get a rotor bro and rark it up au" :rolleyes: lol

  7. if your lookin at colour charts or books or sumfin it shud have all the codes written by the colours, and that does sound like the code for that colour. any place you go to buy paint shud have the code for the colour you want, if they don't have the code then they wouldn't be able to put it in to the computer to find out which tinters to use.

  8. 3 months for a paintjob :shock: dunno wat kinda paint your usin man but fuck that. 2k paint is the way to go, you can get 2k solid colours which will come out glossy without a clear, or you can use 2k base colour and then put a 2k clear over it for the gloss. as for pearls you can put them in your base coat, in between clear coats, in the clear coat but if you buff the job after that it will cut all the heads off the pearl particles and you will hardly even see it. but for 2k jobs you realy need to spray it in a booth so you can get it nice and warm and give it a bake afterwards. laquer is quite often used by ppl that havn't sprayed much, jus put your base clour on then a few coats of clear, you'll have to cut and polish it to bring the shine up. i'll be sprayin my car at work in 2 k base and clear, will be puttina pearl in between the clear coats 9spray the first coat of clear then spray a light dusting of pearl over the car then finish the clear coats) that way whejn i buff it i won't be cuttin the heads off the pearl particles and i will get the full effect of the pearl. the job i'm gona do on my car would probly cost around 3 grand, 20% of that is on materials, the rest is labour.

  9. tell me wat is so wrong with lock diffs people? i drive my 13b bridge rx7 to work everyday and it has got a locker in it, do you see me spun out and crashed in the ditch? do you see me in jail for killin a little kid? NO!!

    i think lockers are pretty good, and fucken good fun in the wet :lol: it may be a bit of a cunt to parallel park and do tight turns but i don't really give a fuck, to tell the truth you can hardly notice it when your drivin around, only if your stopping and starting drivin round in town or sumfin. just pop the clutch and crank it sideways i say :wink::twisted:

  10. yeah it's green, from little old waiuku. i wouldn't run from the cops if they were close as but if i saw lights in the distance in the rear view and i was on the motorway i mite hav a think bout it :lol: but still probly not, even tho it could eat a cop car probly. don't really speed much any ways. takin it off the clock once just to test the new motor, and that was on a road wif fuck all cars and a massive straight.

What do the different coloured wires go to? i believe the red and black would be power and earth, what about the other two, there's a green and a white 1 i think (i can't be stuffed walkin to the shed to have a look :oops: ) yeah any help would be sweet, i wanna get it workin, bit gay havin it mounted on the dash and not havin it goin :?
