I think like said they DO look Japanese, but I'm not too sure which make though. My old RT84 Corona had the same type of light and wiper switches, but I don't remember there being any demister switch like that...

Place in Tawa/porirua does pretty cheap jobs. They will paint it also rugged styles.

Line up the dots on the two gears in middle of camshafts.

The spoke in cam gear with small hole should be at the top and be able to see through to groove in top of seal carrier.

If I'm down that way and have the time/money, I could be keen!

Well bad news!

The 240C has now been sold and the Watanabes will also be on the way out so I can FINALLY get stuck back in to the 1600 project!

I've never seen a Turbo R series in a Hilux or Surf Or ANYTHING for that matter. Are they REALLY rare?

Not sure if I'll have my 240C wagon going when I get back, the 1200 wagon will be gone and the 1600 wagon isn't going far either! So I'd probably either have to bring one something late model OR catch a ride in someone elses oldschool ride! Anyone got room from Mt/Tga or even Hams? I pay well for gas
