    I sketched this up a while ago. 160 km day 1, 180 km day 2, 90 km day 3.

Plenty of gravel. Haven't looked into accom options at all.

    Day 2 - Waitomo Loop 234km

    Day 3 - Te Kuiti Return 230km

I was thinking Te kuiti for accomodation as Pio Pio has next door to nothing.

This looks like a solid mission!

  2. On another note, the Burt Munro challenge has been on my list for years and finally decided to make the trip down from the Bay of Plenty. If there are other heading down and keen to share the road/ trip and sharns that would be cool. I don’t know if there is a event thread or not for Old school in regards to Burt Munro challenge, ( I have had a look) but if there is and someone could point me in the right direction I would be stoked.
By the way I absolutely do not intend  make the trip down on a small two stroke I have nick named the hemroid hammer. Definitely big bike but intend to camp along the way. Cheers.

The A100 is the minimum I reckon. Had to really ride tye shit out of my clitch to get up some of the hilly stuff. Fix that seat though if you care about your arse!

Jump in with me on the way down eh?

Ya I will be fitting a lush old man sheep Skin! Will start working on a better wheel and tyre combo. Maybe some better shocks for the back that actually move up and down over bumps.
Definitely keen to jump in and share driving, fuel and sharns.
