  1. You're never gonna get that straight with any cutting and hammering, not without a fuck load of undersealing to hide it afterwards. The rails look bent,as well as crushed. I'd hate to buy it withyknowing and then be in an accident. I would honestly walk away from it man.

I'd take the metal butterflies of a ropey cammed to hell V8 over a brap, tbh.   I prefer my twin rotor turbo and shooshed but wind into the three and four rotors and it's a different story.

Yup,for the money you could own a 426 hemi that looks and sounds like the price it cost. Skids ,yeah I get that,on a track I assume you guys mean, chucking into corners and all. I've been in a few rapid tangs, never owned one,and going by the price thing I never will, but saying that,at the price of bb hemi's ,I'll keep driving shit box cars and shut the fuck up. Cheers for the insight lads, they are quick little things I must admit.

  3. I don't get the Dorito following at all. I always used to hear, warm them up before driving, let them cool a bit before turning off, expensive to fix as they blow seals like an eskimo....I'm not being a smart cunt...I just don't get the prices, especially the prices.

Lol. Modern engines easily run over $100 in oil alone. I think some of the stuff we carry is about $35/L, for both petrol and diesel.

Edit: $100 for a service? Are you missing a digit there?

The TD42 is a bit of an exception as it's essentially a small truck engine as opposed to a car engine

Oh sorry,I didn't see the car engine and modern engine part of the question. Apologies

I always serviced mine at 5k intervals.

  5. What about some diesels that take nearly 10ltrs of oil,2 oil filters and a lift pump filter, air filter and pre filter as safaris do? Mine was about $100 or a little more each service.

  6. I should have said the Aussie VE front clip is the same as the US dart coupe front, except for the little "dot" indicater at the front on the guard, same as US Dodge pre 71 chargers (from a fuzzy memory, could be wrong). Mopar Barry out.

Pretty awesome update on this. John got the car back last Saturday night! Power of social media, someone came forward who had it and arranged its return...

  8. My first memory of a rotor was a mates Mrs had a rx2 coupe, red and black. Took me for a fang, big girl and a good driver, gave me the shots.

Second memory was a mates that bought a s1 7 form Turner's damaged stolen auction. He started it and it blew smoke,I knew nothing about rotary's and said fuck that. He bought it after I left.

In the morning he said I bouythat rx,it's outside,go have a better look, looked out the window and there was no can. It was stolen, and cops told him after reporting it stolen that it was half a k away, seems to have run out of gas. Smashed side window and no damage. His Nick name was "run out Ricky". Tight ass save him some money that night.
