I'd take the metal butterflies of a ropey cammed to hell V8 over a brap, tbh. I prefer my twin rotor turbo and shooshed but wind into the three and four rotors and it's a different story.
Yup,for the money you could own a 426 hemi that looks and sounds like the price it cost. Skids ,yeah I get that,on a track I assume you guys mean, chucking into corners and all. I've been in a few rapid tangs, never owned one,and going by the price thing I never will, but saying that,at the price of bb hemi's ,I'll keep driving shit box cars and shut the fuck up. Cheers for the insight lads, they are quick little things I must admit.

I don't get the Dorito following at all. I always used to hear, warm them up before driving, let them cool a bit before turning off, expensive to fix as they blow seals like an eskimo....I'm not being a smart cunt...I just don't get the prices, especially the prices.

Another sharn.
I used to live in a West Auckland ghetto, massy to be precise. I had my teenage nephews living with us for a time. I had just bought a parts car,got it off the trailer and proceeded to rip skids to see if it was good for what I needed. Only burnouts in my driveway...nothing went bang. Then 5 minutes later there was a banging on my door, dogs were going nuts (they didn't like darker skinned people cause they were always throwing shit at them over the fence when nobody was home),so it was safe to assume I had uninvited visitors. Opened the door to a guy wrapped in a sheet telling me I can't make car noises and smoke, and if I did he would bunch my car wif his bat,he got told to fuck off it was on private property after all. He said his kids were playing on the street and it's not nice to act like that. I told him there was a park at each end on the street if he could be fucked getting dressed and taking them. He said I know where you live,I said no fkn shit, you're on my doorstep, now fuck off before I let the angry dog off and you can bunch the dog,he said yeah ok. I went to let said dog off, while doing so I heard my nephew's pissing themselves laughing and went back inside. They said fuck,do you know who that was? I gave my own opinion as to who it was,and they said " that was Savage" ,I said it would have been if I let No1 dog off,but it was Savage the rapper, never heard of him myself. Fat cunt left his sheet on my fence after jumping it. Always wondered who owned the brand new Ford explorer living in a state house 5 houses down the road.

Lol. Modern engines easily run over $100 in oil alone. I think some of the stuff we carry is about $35/L, for both petrol and diesel.
Edit: $100 for a service? Are you missing a digit there?
The TD42 is a bit of an exception as it's essentially a small truck engine as opposed to a car engine
Oh sorry,I didn't see the car engine and modern engine part of the question. Apologies
I always serviced mine at 5k intervals.

What about some diesels that take nearly 10ltrs of oil,2 oil filters and a lift pump filter, air filter and pre filter as safaris do? Mine was about $100 or a little more each service.

I should have said the Aussie VE front clip is the same as the US dart coupe front, except for the little "dot" indicater at the front on the guard, same as US Dodge pre 71 chargers (from a fuzzy memory, could be wrong). Mopar Barry out.

In Nissan diesel circles the zd30 is known as a grenade

My first memory of a rotor was a mates Mrs had a rx2 coupe, red and black. Took me for a fang, big girl and a good driver, gave me the shots.
Second memory was a mates that bought a s1 7 form Turner's damaged stolen auction. He started it and it blew smoke,I knew nothing about rotary's and said fuck that. He bought it after I left.
In the morning he said I bouythat rx,it's outside,go have a better look, looked out the window and there was no can. It was stolen, and cops told him after reporting it stolen that it was half a k away, seems to have run out of gas. Smashed side window and no damage. His Nick name was "run out Ricky". Tight ass save him some money that night.

So if I've read right, more than 20 percent increase in power needs a cert?
-
If a car has a 350 in it already certed, will it have to be rec-certed for a 383 and tunnelram?
Also would the 383 be a direct bolt in on the original mounts?
Thanks guys.
Straightening chassis rails

You're never gonna get that straight with any cutting and hammering, not without a fuck load of undersealing to hide it afterwards. The rails look bent,as well as crushed. I'd hate to buy it withyknowing and then be in an accident. I would honestly walk away from it man.
