My thinking on not using better, 2 part paint products while still very much a beginner was partly because of the increased toxicity, and the need for a higher level of protective gear, ventilation etc. Also, I thought it's illegal to spray those paints in suburb home garage type places? Not sure where I heard that though…
It is illegal to be painting cars at home. Fumes are meant to be vented and filtered before reaching the outside.
I had a go at a neighbor for painting a car outside his house,my 2 kids under 3yrs old were in their splash pool 20ft away. It's not a good thing to be doing. If you would wear a mask to paint, why expose others to the toxic fumes and no fucks given?

Those things are full of resin and tend to leave a mess when they fail. Not too cheap either.

Just take the lens off the car and use a soldering iron from the inside to fix the crack.

Yep,they are the discs I use. For the tight areas an air powered finger sander will work,or as tort says, die grinder will work too.
-
Fibre stripping discs work well.

I've sold r180 nissan diffs to V8 guys, then asked what they were going into, one was a replica ac cobra, guy said they are good for 350hp,so a r200 would be good for 400 surely?

Yes Clint...Windsor are ok,rev better than clevo,Mopar 318 can make good.power on reasonable budget....I'm not a chev fan but ls1 would be a good option...even a 360 mopar.

Why are you going with a Windsor....more narrow?

Depends how corroded,it may have eaten almost thru the metal on a level you can't see, being fairly porous as alloy is.

Are you selling any parts off the donor Ute? I'm after passengers wiper arm and driver's seatbelt if you are.

To get the Mazda grill to fit you will have to trim it to fit, from memory the Mazda headlights are smaller. I've done the same on my Ute cause I couldn't find a courier bonnet,so went Mazda bonnet and grill.

I had one when I was 18.....was fun, till I blew the diff and was quoted $600 for a new diff head. So I sold it and the guy that bought it chopped it into a Ute for his lawn mowing business.

The one car that I liked was my mum's mk1 cortina gt wagon, chequered flags.on the hubcaps and all,it would be worth a fkn mint now I'd assume.
Also a few ej Holden wagons, a alpine Talbot thing,a few hr Holden's,a Cambridge and a Morrie van that I put stickers all over the back windows....mum lost it at me,then it was stolen. A few weeks later they saw it while they were on the bus at the lights, because.of all the stickers on it. My old man jumped off the bus and delivered a massive hiding to the.poor cunt driving it.

Wrapped a mach 1 round a lamp post...I now own a lamp post.
Got almost head on'd while turning right in a 280zx by a fag in a prelude while my wife was 7 mths pregnant in the car,he ran off, very luck he did.
Got t boned in a 120y wagon by old lady.
Got hit in the back in a crown, the ones with the weird blinkers on top of the guards, fucked his mk1 cortina.
Slid across road coming out of a corner in an avenger, and hit another avenger the exact same colour, ended up buying it for parts to fix mine.
