Make sure you enter before you go, they like to "select" cars, not just have cars turn up, plus be ready for an early start - like being there at 8am and can't get your car until 4pm
This will be why they only get 160 cars, yet the Marlborough Hospice car show gets 500 in a region with 50,000 people.

Yeah it was a silver top that had been converted to COP.

Went along today and took a few photos of things that interested me. Huge turnout. Would be 400+ cars on display easily and all for a gold coin entry. A bit of everything. Only thing it was lacking was old bikes, there were more in the carpark than in the show.

Location: Christchurch
Cars you own: ‘85 NZ GT Corolla 3dr, ‘87 AE92 FX-GT, ‘67 Vespa SS180
Mods to them (can be brief or detailed): NZ GT is stock, AE92 is lowered on Cobra springs, SSR Integral A2 16x7 +32 wheels, Sparco fixed race seat, Momo wheel, TRD gearknob, sounds. Vespa was bought new in Christchurch by my late grandfather in 1967. It was passed down to my father when he passed away and now it’s mine. It’s a runner. We are just going to get it legal, put a new seat and tail light on it and ride it.

I remember in the 1990s when Dinos were relatively cheap a retired school teacher used to drive one in Blenheim.
