Tell more about your truck please. What is the plan for it ... to get a WOF or to get dirrty doing shit - or both.

Hi, that photo was taken the day we dug it out of the weeds with an old Fergy tractor. It had been sitting for years behind the original owners shed out in the wop wops. It looks a bit different now. Had to replace the shell as it was too far gone to  be economic to repair. I managed to find a stripped and blasted bare 38 sedan shell (the same) in great order in Kerikeri. Only 9 odd hours away! We literally cut it in half and stuffed the back into the front and brought it home to the Bay  on the back of my flat deck ute. The unused portion went to New Plymouth to fix a car with a rusty rear so  wasn't wasted. The new body was created by grafting the rear of a early 50's Chevy pick up on to the front of the chopped sedan body behind the door pillars. It worked out really well and looks a lot nicer than the original trucking job which had a tin back and plastic window pop riveted on. We decided to put a v8 in instead of the flathead 6 it had. We also welded in a Jag front end and did lots of other mods. I'm wiring it at the moment but am pretty slow as I'm not a mechanic or an engineer. Just a try hard! Cheers Mat.
