it's not a pig, but i am concerned about R/Rear section and right footwell being repaired (possibly badly), and the fact the engine bay isn't intact.
would definately want to have someone inspect it personally, to see if any of those points are going to affect compliance, as it's $8.5k plus costs and reckon there could be better cars available, maybe ex-Aussie
I agree completely. Also going ex-Japan immediately puts the process into a risky area purely because of the increase in flight costs to view. I will keep an eye out for something out of aussie then I can atleast hop on a plane short notice to view / purchase.

Doesn't look like a bad starting point all the same. Language barrier may be a problem out of export auctions?

Perfect that was exactly what I was after. Now the next step is to find the car..

Hi Guys,
I am currently looking at importing a TA22 Celica Project Car over from AUS and am struggling to find decent information on what I should expect if I was to bring over something in pieces as apposed to a fully restored vehicle. Does anyone know of someone or have any information themselves of this process / rough transport costs from AUS and the compliance process once it is here seeing as I won't be gaining compliance until restored in NZ.
Cheers!
