Person had import paperwork but from what i remember yes could only be done as a racecar here. Had alot of great bits on it but again from the what i seen would be a risky buy off the bat without it being checked over. 

Anyone looking to view for nz road purposes i would strongly surgest getting cert person to veiw & putn writing what They! Would require for it tobe certed by them & put back on the road. Im having issuses with some of these cert guys,2 builds ive come in on are turning to custard because of these clowns with god complexes. But thats another story. 

The rx would a real fun car for the road

Yes that is correct. I veiwed it before he got into it. Alot of stuff on the car when i viewed it wouldnt pass cert in Nz. But he may have changed alot of that. You wod pay a cert person togo over it or make agreement with owner. 

I love going to this place im welly based but when ever im even going to taupo will go if time allows it. Was there begining of december. Found some good 105e rear windows tail lights out in feild. Easyer to take pictures to show the boss man. He was super helpfull hes always up for a chat always. But said why take stuff from outside & directed me to follow him. Went up to the great layer of upstairs to where there is just boxes of stuff. Found what i was after went down satirs to get pricing. Lady  owner Barb said of follow me to be lead to just NOS of stuff still in boxes. Mint early xmas. Then relised whats this guna cost. Butt pukker as took all my bits to counter & to be honest the prices were bloody good. Mint chrome tail lights with new lenses still in boxes worked out together $75 a side. Now tryn find mint chrome rear light housings let alone in the box lenses. I just love going there. So much potencial with patch panels that an american freind while over here said same ,gold mine just in small panel sections for restorations. He plans on contacting them when looking for stuff when back home. Got spend the day there for sure. Only bad thing is prices to have walk around if arent looking for parts has taken abig jump. Used tobe $2 is now $10. But if your car people then is the place togo. 

I have a type 9 behind my worked 2ltr & its great on motorway but round town the ratios are rubbish unless i run a 4.4. Im now going c/r celica box as way better ratios. Google what they ratios are in type 9 you might be surprised how bad they are. To do conversion on ratios is about $950 for kit + build costs. 

Total turbo nz. Hes on the fanbook thingy built alsorts if combos for all my turbo cars &mates, good prices & reasonable turnaround times. 

Almost makes me want to drag my van out of the corner & do some work on it. But im bizzy play with the 2 coupes instead. Good score tho. People are dead keen on vans at moment.
