  1. Triumph's will soon own this forum, solid work.

Let's band together with other British car owners to push out the influx of Japanese car enthusiasts to our secluded community.

Hahaha yes! Love British cars, this is the second in our collection and going to look at a morris next week to hopefully make it number 3. Only problem now is garage space is running out fast.

  2. Love this.

How are you uploading your photos? If you upload them to an external site then link them to your post you can have much higher resolution.

Not really sure the best way to do it but we resize the pictures so their not huge then upload to tinypic.

What sort of external site would you recommend?

  3. Only had it too months but has been reliable so far the only problem was starter (still works just need a wack with a hammer sometimes) all the rest was human error from previous owner ... To think he is doing his apprenticeship that's scary , it doesn't light up very well with the 7inch tires on the back.

  4. Well the time of the year came and trump was due for a warrent, in to the

testing station and to be expected it didn't pass.

We failed on a few minor things, the circlip on the rear break cylinder was missing,

hand break needed adjusting and needed a new headlight bulb.

Pretty minor things we were expecting a bigger list so within two days we had a fresh sticker.

It was noted on our wof sheet that we had a few rust spots that we need

to attend to on the a pillar and above the rear window

with a sand and rust dissolver it was ready to put some primer on.

Lets just say its not an easy place to sand....

On the next good day we will paint the primer,

We got a can of paint matched to our car so decided to touch up a strip on the edge of the door.

Didn't mind the modgies but wanted something different so we plasti dipped them,

We tryed a few different ideas.

In the end we decided to go with this

The interior was looking a little rough so in the mean time while we wait for the tray

for under the dash and the centre surround we made our own out of an old harcourts sign

(been waiting two months for the old owner to send...)

, We also painted the rear parcel tray as it was rather stained. :thumbleft:

It will do for now, It hides the spaghetti under the dash

All these little things have made a huge difference to the car already.

With the recent snow decided to take it for a drive

After the past two months we have come a wee way since we purchased it, For a classic car we

are suprised how well its going.

We have a few ideas of how we want the car to look in the end so we are on the hunt for an old

    school roof tray/basket.
