Thinking about getting this welder, just wondering what everyones opinions on them are, and bad experiences etc. 

It would be my first welder and I'd be using it firstly for some rust repairs on my Hilux, but after that just general welding projects, eg making a new workbench, general garage use I guess.

I also like the fact it can do tig (although I realise it's only DC liftarc), hence why I'd choose this one over the 180amp version.

Thanks guys, will probably go for the $300 bare head and regrind valves etc.

Pulled the head off my Hilux to do the headgasket, and found some corrosion (see attached image).

Firstly, is this repairable? Secondly, should I bother?

And if the answer to the first 2 questions is yes, who in Hamilton should I go see?

Mods to them (can be brief or detailed): No mods to HIlux, yet. Golf has chipped AGU motor with various other bits and pieces but it's not old.
