I'm after a few bits for an old yamaha chappy, I'm looking for a throttle cable, Kickstart lever, fuel cap, Kickstart spindle/rod, speedo cable and drive and possibly more parts in the future
Let me know if you've got any of the parts cheers

Have pmd you the frame number
-
Yeah first of all mines not in the system and the invercargill and gore vtnz and aa both want inspections..
-
When did you do this and would I be able to pay you to get me one?
-
Yeah I think frame numbers show up in the system? Mine didn't though
-
That could work......
-
Yeah we'll see haha. Don't know if I'll have much luck though
-
Ok so what would I do about the "can't go over 50k" rule? Which I think is bullshit because most new mopeds do 60k easy
-
Nah it ain't in the system
-
Because a v50 is over 2kw. Everything works really good on it and it would pass an inspection. They wanted me to prove it was 2kw or under and it's 3.4 kw
-
Ok is there anyone that would be able to get me some plates the easy way and then courier them down to me???? I will cover all costs plus pay you extra for doing it. P.M me to sort something out....
-
Nah have tried everywhere in southland haha.. I am speaking to people in other parts of the country that could get plates courier them down to me hopefully
-
Yeah no luck in invercargill and gore vtnz/AA.. they all want inspections etc.
-
Alright thanks for that
-
Ok so hopefully I should be able to do what you did then
-
When did you do this metalhead96? I have the mr2b form and will fill out and take it somewhere tomorrow. Hopefully it will be that easy
-
I'm pretty sure it said on the website is has to be 2kw or under? But you could be right. Going to try find out more tomorrow and go to a different vtnz shop
-
Not sure if it's still in the system. Yes it's 3.4 kw I think, and it's seems like all the people in invercargill (VTNZ aa etc ) seem to want to do it by the book.... we'll see what happens.....

So I'm having a bit of trouble trying to get my yamaha v50 registered as a moped. I dont think they will let me register it as a moped as its over 2kw. Because apparently you need to get it checked by a motorbike shop and they need to prove it's roadworthy and under 50cc and 2kw. Anyone got any suggestions on what to do or know an easy way out get the bloody thing on the road? Because I don't want to register it as a bloody motorcycle

Yeah gonna try the local bike shop but was just checking here to see if there was anything cheaper and closer other than eBay.
