I have a discussion over a 1600 but this is for a 2L

My mate has a 2l engine out of a sierra 2L manual, it has a 205 block also.

i would love to put some side drafts on, what size would be best?

also what other mods to do, i have a little bit of money

40's run fine. Never fall out of tune. Yet to see bike carbs working well. 

 

Do you want an engine that will last or a hand grenade?

i might look at getting a 2l pinto for it, would this also apply?

i also heard putting 1300 pistons in the 1600 is best

both sets of front guards,

drivers door, (or door skin)

bubble flares (steel)

I know you can get these parts from palmside and stuff but was wondering if anyone has these parts they could sell to me

Hey guys I have a Mk1 escort it has a 1300 kent (original engine) my mate has a 1600 kent or do i go for a 205 pinto engine........ which would be worth more when i sell it, might also put a small turbo on the 205 pinto.

But which would be worth more when i sell it

when I was removing the guards off a mk1 escort I ran into some trouble.... There is a bit connecting the rear of the guard to the car. Does this bit come with the guard or will I need to buy a replacement bit. Can post pics if needed

I have a mk1 escort 2 door and I need to remove the doors to sand blast and reskin one of them.I have tried a door pin remover thing but that just bent. Any tips?
