Have started gutting the interior today and stripping out the loom etc that i wont need. Am pretty happy with the progress but was a bit dubious about cutting into the firewall. Am fitting a RB30 firewall for the new gearbox. Managed to get the engine in to have a quick fit with the box attached and see how it sits. As per the photos its going to be tight. Update you more as it happens.

So have come across this pretty straight looking l200 with no rust ( a little in the door ) that i have started making plans for. As it sits it has no engine or gearbox so i have decided to fit a RB22DET 5 Speed to it and see how she goes.
Interested to hear peoples views on this and here to get some great advice at the same time.
