Hi All
I bought this GTO on trademe about 5 - 6 years ago and it sat in my garage for a few years before i started it. I removed the motor and bought a 2L 4g63 turbo out of a Mitsubishi Starion to replace the tired 4g52. I fully recon the starion motor but when it came time to fit it I just couldn't. I sold the 4g63 and fully recon the 4g52. i removed everything from the engine bay and got it resprayed. I reconditioned/replaced all the brake components - reconditioned master cylinder, new brake hoses all round, new wheel cylinders, new front and rear brakes. All the suspension is new - front and rear shockies and reconditioned rear leaf springs. I have just finished the motor after buying some engine bits from the US.
Pictures to come as soon as i can work out how to make them smaller.

Hi SR ROLLA
Nice car, Im glad to see its a regular driver and not just sitting in a garage somewhere and just taken out on Sundays.
I'm doing up a 73 GSR and accidentally smashed the distributor when removing it from the timing cover.
Would you have one you would part with?
I'm going to take some pics of my project and post up soon.
Cheers

Hi there,
The cracks are fixable i have got them welded up on cars i have had in the past and you will find the head off the 4g51 won't fit.
