I never noticed that it said 808 until I just went and rechecked. Thought it was the real deal when I first saw it.
That last one sold for $45k? So I guess it will sell for Pretty close to his asking price.
Or he might swap it for a PS4 and a couple of Piddy pups.
What was the past one that sold for $45k?

This seems nice and not stupidly expensive for 2020.

All of those 2 coupes have painted the tops of the doors the same colour as the car.
Always wondered about this. So the original rx2s don’t have this part painted body-colour? What colour is it then...black? I see 50% of cars dark colour and 50% body colour. I def think the dark colour looks better... gives the car a more balanced profile... whereas body colour ones look a bit too forward balanced. Body colour also gives a feeling of the car standing a bit taller. Anyway...mine is still painted body colour... so was going to black out one day. What have others done?

Bet it looks rougher in person.
Probably has fibreglass front nose cone and might be missing the grille chrome.
Probably fibreglass bumpers.
808 dashboard and no handbreak consul.
Needs rear flares.
But all of the above can be sorted with repro parts from Oz. Which I would do. (If I had an unlimited budget)
It has the potential to be a nice car.
I suspect, with current pricing that it will sell for close to the asking price. If it was a genuine 3 it would probably have another $15k on the price.
Have messaged him with some questions. Lets see what he comes back with. Could be a fun track car with some work put into it. Getting tired of waiting for an rx3 coupe to come up for sale.

Anyone interested in buying my FC?
My mate is selling my old Holden and I’m thinking of buying it back. But there is only so much room at the inn.
Tell me more...

Probably already discussed here... but this looks pretty clean. Low mileage 20B.

This was the car that got me into rotaries... our mechanic's race rx3. Raced in Nissan Mobil 500 back in the day. 13bpp.

How about posting the car that got you into rotaries in the first place...? The first time you heard one, sat in one or saw one racing...?
