..or it’s because people have seen what idiots in Nz will pay for non rx early Mazda’s. After that 808 sold for $70k the other day seems people have realised the value in selling.

Yep.. I'd say it is definitely driven by that sale. When I saw it I also thought maybe time to sell.... but mine is getting some more steel put into it at the moment, so not great timing. I guess it is one thing for people to be crazy enough to pay that sort of money...and another for those of us that own them to spend so much bloody money keeping them alive..! :)

Also this guy must be jumping on the bandwagon after seeing the other one sell for $70k a couple of days ago. People spending that much on an 808 is beyond me.

I am ok with them spending this sort of money.... ;)

Id probably use urethane and masking tape to hold them long enough to dry , however you would probably not get them off again with damaging the paint.

I have a pair of these found them the other day.

yeah they are quite heavy units. Thanks.

  4. Ok so there is probably a better page for this... but it is related to an Rx2 coupe so here goes. Any ideas on the best product to affix the rx2 antler badges on the C-pillar? The ones I got from PAC-Performance are concave and not quite flat around the edges... so its probably going to be a little tricky.

    Some HB inspiration for me

I have always liked these...ever since I was a young'un. Now I have some HB inspiration also!

Imagine a screaming 20 PP in one of these. I guess there will be a couple floating around somewhere. I recall a red HB set up as a race-car somewhere in NZ...

Yeh I had planned on going to wander around and take some pics, but sick child and house work took priority.  The weathers been typical August weather for Chrome for at least the last 2 years.

I think the Rotary only day in October with free competitor entry has taken some shine off the pay $xxx for the weekend events.

Yip… Impulsive day looks good and we’’ll definitely head to King of the Rotaries. We’ll have a few cars there. Hope the weather is good…!

    Yep,

Didnt take any photos though haha.

To be honest the rotary turnout was way less than normal. the rotary only cruise on sunday only had maybe 30 cars? In previous years its had a heap more than that.

I guess the weather didnt help...

We’ll be there yep will try catch up

Oh...only just saw this. What car did you take? Was a reasonable turnout. Was a nice 20B PP there. And 20B Cosmo which I kept going back to take a look at.

I wish man - first time one is close to home - and I'm in chch for the weekend ffs.

If the weather holds, there will be quite a few cars out though that I know of

Ok cool. I might take the 2 coupe out for a pulse then if there are going to be a few cars there. Just had her dynoed and tuned by Green Brothers and she’s running sweet..!
