Been watching that one.  I actually want to buy it but sadly funds don't allow.  Its a great example of a factory condition one.

be interesting to see what it goes for - the insurance company keep telling me that mines only worth $1800....

there's @84_S12 Ryan's one. I bumped into him at a safety shop last year. He's had it in storage until our roads are all fixed. (CA18et)

and that's why my one is still at the factory ride height - I have this tendency to disappear up back roads to see what is up there and low cars aren't suited to that. Plus I don't have to worry about speed bumps. :-)

Dad has a MGB and has been harping on about getting more go from it. He has found that a prince's head is nearly identical but has larger Valves . I wanting to do the conversation for his birthday .

I don't have any knowledge of these motors  is there any variation in these motors or can I just buy a prince's head.

Hmm, sounds like something that could go horribly wrong if you don't know what you are doing.

For what it's worth I have a soft copy of  "Special Tuning MGB's" a booklet published by The M.G. Car Company Ltd that goes through several stages of tweaking the MGB engine. I bought the booklet in 1974 back when I had an MGB and have since scanned it. If nothing else it has historical interest.

PM me if you are interested in a copy (its in pdf).

I see 2 mini's, 1 Mini van and an MG Midget (best guess) - Sorry - out the window of the car shot.

from the rear overiders (with no bumper) and small tail lights I'm guessing a Triumph TR2 or TR3 rather than a MG.
