there's @84_S12 Ryan's one. I bumped into him at a safety shop last year. He's had it in storage until our roads are all fixed. (CA18et)and that's why my one is still at the factory ride height - I have this tendency to disappear up back roads to see what is up there and low cars aren't suited to that. Plus I don't have to worry about speed bumps.

Dad has a MGB and has been harping on about getting more go from it. He has found that a prince's head is nearly identical but has larger Valves . I wanting to do the conversation for his birthday .
I don't have any knowledge of these motors is there any variation in these motors or can I just buy a prince's head.
Hmm, sounds like something that could go horribly wrong if you don't know what you are doing.
For what it's worth I have a soft copy of "Special Tuning MGB's" a booklet published by The M.G. Car Company Ltd that goes through several stages of tweaking the MGB engine. I bought the booklet in 1974 back when I had an MGB and have since scanned it. If nothing else it has historical interest.
PM me if you are interested in a copy (its in pdf).

It's probably well known to those with PI's (it's many years since I sold my TR6) but this site has lots of info on the Lucas PI:

Big ol' thing… Don't know what it was, but it's weird.
Looks like a 1962 Dodge Pioneer to me.
