In my R30 with S13 coilovers I didn't have a limit to how low I wanted it. The cert guy said so long as I had full steering lock and the correct camber I could have it low as I wanted. They don't measure it from the chassis rails either, the legal height of the car is from the lowest point EXCEPT the exahust system and skirts. My sway bar and sump are under 6cm from the ground and the rest of the car is dam low as well. It had 7 degrees of camber but I managed to get it down to 1.5 degrees with some aftermarket camber arms. The cert guy still passed it even though it's a little over the legal limit.

My HR30s on S13 coilovers and its 55mm off the ground at the lowest point which is the sway bar, rest of it's lower than 99mm. It's got stupid camber at the back at that height though

My L20E is running rough as.
It starts fine, idles lumpy, and stalls when it's warm. It only revs to about 5200rpm then just runs out of steam?!
Last time I took it out it got really hot - something it's never done before.
SO, what do you guys reckon, where should I start? Head gasket?

I'll buy it for a grand

^^Oh snap, that's my Mira. It's written off sadly, some asshole shunted me into a car in front. Not such a shame since it's a $500 car

All I know is that they are BC Reds, I'm not sure if they are welded on. Where would I look, I really don't have a clue about this kinda thing
Also cheers for the reply

I've got an R30 currently on adjustables, and want to get it legal without getting a cert. What's the cheapest option for some new shocks/springs? I'd like to keep it pretty low too if possible.
Are the struts/springs the same as any other models of the era? Can I just swap the top hats off the adjusties? I also have a 280zx that I'm rebuilding, would the struts from that swap over, and the adjusties go in the 280?
I'd really appreciate any advice, I know next to nothing about what's cross compatible on these cars, cheers!
