Well i was travelling to kaikoura and she over heated possibly because of the manner she was being driven 120kms in 4spd. filled her up with cold water and was okay think the top hose was blocked slighty. drives okay now. looking at a new radiator though

I would try pay it but they havn't given me any intstructions or what not to pay..its being dealt with lawyers gonna be tough as i am still at school.i believe they will wait for me to get a full-time income and sting me.. no1 to blame but myself though i sure have learnt my lesson
reason it cost so much because it was attached to underground cables

It was my first car that started the obsession with x7 toyotas. Me and my dad had been fixing her up for around 6months, had the beaut for 2-3weeks??
i was only 15 at the time thought i was mad mike behind the steering wheel, went fora cruise then decided it would be wise to rip the handbrake at 60kms haha stupidest thing i think i've ever done. started to get sideways then panicked, lost control locked up the brakes and thought i was going into a ditch nek minnit a stupid power pole appears i smack into square on luckily for me i only had whiplash, not so lucky i snapped the power pole straight in half and i had insurance but they decided not to cover me cause i was being wreckless, Get a bill in the mail .... $16,950.00 i think i fainted. i am now 17 going on 18 and i still havn't paid a cent..yet ill be in trouble when i've gotta pay for it.
she still sits in my garage today. could probably fix but i just cant be fucked lol

I dont have exact figures, but i travelled around 210kms on the weekend from blenheim to picton back a few times and used 90$ fuel and had just under a quarter left which is sweet f/a
-
Keep seeing a sweet as yellow honda city with turbo writen down the side, black wheels looks like minta in blenheim
-
Performance is normal if you stomp on it though?
yeah sure is still responsive and thermo is working all sweet
i will check that out today thank u and yes it is efiDon't know much / amything about these engines in particular. but bad fuel consuption can be caused from a burnt out O2 sensor & dirty airflow meter etc.Assuming this is EFI.
What do you call bad fuel economy? What did it used to be?The obvious question has to be asked - its not because the cost of fuel has gone up?
well i used to get around to work/school on about $30 a week. not travelling to much now its $40-50 the price hasn't gone up too much in this period

2.8l 5m-e cressidas arnt known to be good on fuel.. but lately its using so much more than it ever used to..
we replaced the bearings about 2months ago after i heard a knock for about 3hrs or so
the air con belt snapped after doing it up too tight same day.
they are the only two conclusions i can come to as why it using so much more fuel.
any advice or opinions would be much appreciated
