Ok I want it to "sound awesome" and I want good drivability. It doesn't have to be the most powerful thing on the road. And I would like some nice low down torque. Let's say 5-7k as a budget cheers

I wouldn't waste the money on a stroker.. you can get get a very easy streetable 400 shetlands out of a 351 without going all spendy spendy..

I've recently got a 72 XY Falcon with 351 Cleveland and 4 speed top loader. And I'm just wanting to get a few ideas on what to do with the motor for a nice street build (as i dont have much experience with v8s). I have talked to a few people and they have suggested a 393 stroker kit would be the go, but just wanted to get a few other opinions/options on how to go about it and some prices would be nice too.
