yeah a mate of mine recently got the vvti model 1uz for 1800, thats what i was leaning towards, but just seeing what other options are out there .and im useless with wiring haha would hafta pay someone to do that

hey all, ive just sold the rb runing gear out of my corona, and am now planing to put some form of v8 in it, my question is what would be the best 8 to use? i dont need it to be silly fast, just sound like a v8 should, be good for cruising and towing and be reliable enough to not contstantly break down, excuse the novel and any advice greatly appreciated, wanting to spend no more than $2000 on the motor and box so gbox recommendations would be great too as i want it to be auto, any suggestions are much appreciated

hey all, have devised a plan that should see my xt corona wagon turned into a v8 powered tow wagon/cruiser, what im wanting to know is can it be converted to column shift? i want to run it auto and have a bench seat up front as well as the back

hey all, i recently acquired a set of 3 piece work equip wheels, but there not wide enough to fill out the guards on my corona, im after getting wider outer barrels for them, any advice on who would do this? or an easy way to get this done?

just at lock up now, he doesnt have the pulley, but the water pumps brand new, and he actually does have the tensioner u need! so its ecu, loom, drivebelt tensioner, coil/ignitors and new water pump, $120?

sweet as man will make him go down the lock up this arvo to make sure its all there and will let you know =)

just checked and he said he's pretty sure he does,but will check when he gets to his lock up to check if that pulleys on the water pump, and he said if hes got it all would ya pay $120 the lot?

sweet man, he's guna go to the lock up and check tomorrow but he's 95% sure its all there, however he doesnt know if the water pump pulley is still there so wil let u know on that, and $100 is sweet, will sus payment when its confirmed that its all there?

yeah i thought as much, still may solve the problem cheap which is good

comes with the engine loom but has been chopped up for a 1uz so i'd say its not complete,still useable if spliced into his current loom maybe?

as for the bits you need seedy he has a complete water pump, and the ecu, he said that any toyota map sensor with the same plug will work as thats what he did, but doesnt have one, and has no tensioner, and said if u wanted pump and ecu to make an offer as he doesnt know what there worth, apologies for the novel haha and k trips motor has sold but he has alternator, power steering pump etc

he sold it already i think, will enquire now and let u know
