lowlancer Posted Sunday at 05:34 Posted Sunday at 05:34 @keltik God this takes me back to the late 2000s when this place was infested by weirdos with French wedges. That said, I love it. Beautiful styling - they really had their own thing going on. 1 Quote
Vintage Grumble Posted Sunday at 05:40 Posted Sunday at 05:40 I can only imagine what an absolutely special breed of creature a deep south Citroen enthusiast must be. 7 Quote

My uncle survived getting shot down 4 times during the Pacific campaign, became a fencing contractor in the Waikato, the PTSD could explain why he drove a DS. 1 5 1 Quote
VitesseEFI Posted Sunday at 17:46 Posted Sunday at 17:46 If it (mostly) works, it’ll be lovely. They are very nice wafty things - very comfy and actually reasonably fast. If it’s broken (highly likely) then the nightmare potential is significant. A mate had Xantias as company cars in the 90s and did epic mileages in them. Very little fell off/broke, which is impressive as he broke most of his company cars….. They were of course quite new and did get serviced. I have the leather passenger chair from a top spec Xantia as my home office chair, mounted on the wheeled office chair base rescued from the works skip. 3 Quote

The photos on the listing Which in my mind, suggested the car was capable of moving or had done so somewhat recently. Instead, I suspect the photos in the auction were from when the seller purchased the car many years ago. The part where the car has been sitting long enough for the bodywork to be growing lush moss, with tyres dead flat and dry rotted to the point of not holding air. Yeah, didn't mention that. I guess there were no outright lies, just some missing context. 1 2 1 Quote
