With the Motu Road currently being closed, and no further updates likely given before September. If all signs point to YES for the Motu Road being open by December, we have the option of revising Day 1 and 2 (Thursday/Friday) to include it. It would have to be fairly certain that it would be open. Day 1 - Thurs 3rd would be a low stakes loop around the Whakatane region. Night 1 accommodation changed to Whakatane accordingly. Day 2 - Fri 4th would be up and over the Motu Road, and into Gisborne as planned. This may or may not be an option, and is open to input from the masses. Quote
