kirk28’s 1982 Nissan Gloria 430 Wagon

Picked up a rare Gloria custom van. L20 with 4 speed column manual. Imported in 1990 with 70,000km and now has only 124,000km. 

Last owner passed away, and had some rust by the rear tailgate hinges professionally done

Rest of the car is excellent. Straight as just needs a paint. Any recommendations for a closed door respray ?

 

interior is pretty good seats need a clean and a bit tatty, wish it had the rear jumbo headrests the ‘wagon’ version got - not to mention the dickie seat. But made the 300 km trip back and goes well enough although dumping a L28 in would improve things. Any leads of a L28?

there was some dude in the BOP area with a full spec wagon wreck he’s advertised it on trademe from time to time.. wonder if it’s still around ? any leads to it anyone ?

 

Also any leads for a closed door respray central N.I?

cooling system needs to be done . I think the thermostat is stuck open, temp won’t even get to 1/4, Will service it this week.

Need to check out why the electric mirrors and the rear cargo window aren’t working.
