Kiwibirdman Posted May 23 Posted May 23 For my sins Im the owner of a 1990 Corvette. A while ago one of the oil pressure senders decided to leak oil everywhere. Turns out the car doesn't actually need it so the port got blocked off with a plug. All good so far. It leaked a bit of oil which being lazy I ignored, everything I own leaks a bit. The problem came the other night when my son had it out and the oil caught fire. Not too much damage, I was kind of hoping for carnage and an insurance pay out. The worst damage is the connector out of the distributor goes into a weather pack connector and the dissy side is well melted. Does any one here have experience/tools to replace this. It is a flat 4 pin job. Quote
vk327 Posted May 25 Posted May 25 Would suggest bin the weather pack and fit a deutsch DT if its a wire to wire connection, otherwise I can prob find your the right weatherpack Quote
