Pedro8448 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Hello community, I have a 1976 Toyota 18R engine, and I would like to know what type of electronic distributor (without points and condenser) can be installed. I read somewhere that when converting to an electronic distributor you might lose the vacuum advance (the small hose that goes from the distributor to the carburetor). Is that correct? Has anyone done this conversion on an 18R engine? Any recommendations or advice would be appreciated. Thanks! Quote

Try googling the part number to find local supply or see who the agent is. Quote
