Any of you find folk keen to do a puhoi tavern mission for lunch one day before winter?

Sounds like a plan. Can meet at BP dairy flat and drive up the motorway to Walkworth the back down the old main road. Any one who doesnt like driving can take the shortcut using the Puhoi off ramp.

I'd suggest to meet a little further up the road by the dairyflat shops. The bakery there is bloody awesome and has won a heap of awards. 

 

Also I don't have anything oldschool at the moment but might try link up if things work out. It has been a long time since making it an OS meet.

Few busy weekends between now and the end of march but if timing works out I'd be keen. +1 vote for dairy flat bakery, there's also plenty of parking at weekends on Kahikatea flat road.

If it means your car is on the road sure. I cant make this trip, heading the other way with another club.

A bit much work to be ready for this run, but I need to pretend to be a Project Manager and make a list of jobs to do and put dates on them.

What’s the consensus for timings?

puhoi will likely be packed around lunch, so if we aim for Dairy Flat at 12/12.30, or even 1?

bakery munchies at Dairy Flat, either head to Wenderholm for a park and sharn, or up to Warkworth’s, then down to Puhoi for a mid arvo cold snack.

the more the merrier.

 

for those that are south based (below Greenlane”, could meet at Greenlane maccas before heading up.

Wenderholm is a great spot this time of year and handy to Puhoi for anyone wanting to go and grab a brewskie. Would definitely be keen to grab a pie from the bakery then cruise up for some shaarns and photos and what not for a couple of hours.
