Getting a bit frustrated with stripping paint from under the front guards and engine bay of the Niva, does anyone have a good contact for a mobile sandblaster who could roll up and sort all the nooks and crannies?

Even better is a dustless service possible?

Technically he can do mobile - but more for massive jobs on machinery - you would be better taking parts to him or whole vehicle. From memory he even has a hoist (for doing compliance cars etc normally)

Fast Blast - he has a yard in Hornby and still has his yard in marshlands. Blaine is a top bloke and very thorough - and can even advise what areas might be problematic etc

Has forklift also for ease of getting things on off if required.

Dry ice blasting may be the way to go if you don't want dust? Haven't had it done but seen online a few videos of it.

Oh man i'd love to, had one at my previous employer, I just don't have their deep pockets to pay for it

Mean, that was pretty much the only outfit that sounded like they would be able to and give a shit that I could find in a web search. Getting the car there may be possible but would be tricky to get on the trailer. Will contact tomorrow and see where it leads.

Loaded up and delivered with a mountain of parts to Fastblast, communication was a bit slow to get started, probably cos he's a busy man!

I can see why Blaine is so reccomended, he was was quick to say what was and wasn't possible, hopefully get this back before the break with the undersides and engine bay nice and clean.
