Kiwibirdman Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Cool to see another early Holden being saved. Are you going to add any strengthening for the 2JZ horsepower? Quote
Dudley Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Don’t listen to gardrb I’d never replace the mighty Holden 6 with a inferior straight 6 3 Quote

Smack a link up of the vid of @RXFORDsent you so we can judge you harshly for your obvious mediocrity It was the shittest vid of me rambling because tired. Welded down to chassis machine so I can get sill clamps out of the way on that side. Have supported under centre of floor to take load off sill. Then I just brace a bit and jig stuff, plus take lots of measurements because if repair cert man walked in and saw sill missing and a flimsy pillar with no bracing he would flip his lid and throw a clipboard at me for being lazy. Once the lower section of outer b-pillar comes off these holdens they move alot quite easily. So braced between pillars and down to tunnel, plus a couple of removable bits from seatbelt mounts so can remove inner pillar skin. And made a jig to help set sill-door gap as these vb-vl commodores have knock in roll pin style door hinges so its not as easy to just throw a door on and check gap. Jig will get me close and I'l fit doors last to double check before I commit to welding. 8 1 Quote
