Nels MK 1 Zephyr V8 build.

First sides all tacked ready to weld up.

Had to load up the boot with weights and doors to try get it down.

Its roughly a couple inches off at the moment.

Pretty happy with this..just need more weight in the car..I’m about 2 inches off

Started working on the tilt front. First job was to weld some tabs to the bonnet so I could bolt the fenders to it.

main thing was to get the gaps right and flush the fenders to the bonnet. Came out all good 

Next job is to work in some bracing and tie it all in to where I’m going to pivot the whole thing.

Bracing for the top end is all done ready to bolt in place and should tighten it all up.

On to the pivot points.

Started work on the lower bracket for the pivot points.

This piece will follow the curve of the front sheet metal and be mounted where the front pan and fenders bolt together.

using a 25 x50 x 2mm bar  with drilled and filled holes.

Got the front bar all sorted and pivot points done.

I need to sort the front end out now before I go any further on the tilt front as the front struts will impede the internal cross bars I need to put in.

Looking for an Lj torana front suspension if anyone knows of one.

Front ends out and trimmed off the radiator support.

I will start on cleaning up the firewall
