Made up the recess for the gas cap that is going to be accessed behind the license plate.
Just need to do a little bit of file work on it and weld it in place.

Got a few more jobs done..I’ve removed the original tail light buckets, tidied up both lower rear fenders and starting to work on the lower portion of the rolled rear pan.

once I have the rear pan in place I can then fill the last piece and she’s done.

Also got the original black plates back in the system for when I’m ready to register it.

Was wondering if anyone has a set of old slot mags.

Im looking for a pair of 15 x 8 with a 3 1/2 inch back space and ford stud.

The rear rolled pan is coming along.

Filled up the old tail light openings also.

ive got an idea to replicate the old custom lights but just need to run it past the compliance guy first.

Finally found some lenses with an E-stamp that would pass compliance.

They are about 15mm shorter than the original light openings I had but will give me the same effect.

Just got my rear rims..should come up good with a polish.

An old pair of tridents. Will mount a couple of  235/60/14s on them.

Its the biggest tyre I can get in there without mini tubbing the rear.

Started with a first scuff over to clean up some curbing and small scratches.

Coming out ok..next onto 600-1200-1500 wet/dry then polishing time..at least that’s what the old timers told me to do and I trust them.
