MRT1TRD Posted April 26 Author Posted April 26 Keen eyes will spot my amateur error here, I blame it from being from northland and anxiety of things rusting immediately I had to strip the welded areas for inspection, but that is signed off now but not so tidy looking had one small fire to the roof lining when tacking rear bars but not bad damage 9 Quote
MRT1TRD Posted May 3 Author Posted May 3 A new day some 2nd hand pipes , sadly the new pipes I ordered to Finnish off the main restriction of the exhaust did not show, so I had to make do with some leftovers I had are enough to make it work for now 9 Quote
MRT1TRD Posted Thursday at 07:07 Author Posted Thursday at 07:07 With the exhaust fitted I started it and it was leaking from the original slip joint which is what I wanted to get rid of with the new parts, What I ordered eventually showed up so mad late nights Tuesday and Wednesday to make it how I wanted and test drove it to work, sounds great, quieter at idle, less bark, but a more deeper sound, sounds more smooth like a modern EFI engine than a lazy design old English engine I highly recommend adrenaline R mufflers , I have two spare if anyone wants to buy 7 Quote

Popular Post MRT1TRD Posted Saturday at 20:33 Author Popular Post Posted Saturday at 20:33 A perfect day out in Timaru , new front tyres and wheels made it faster on corners, tho had a spin at the end of the straight using 3rd to slow down but it popped out but I had not kept the revs up when I rein gaged it, didn’t stall so just select first and give a thumbs up to the marshal and keep going 10 Quote
MRT1TRD Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago The wheels are not quite right preferably +20 not 28 and it would be the rear that might rub on the inside guess I have to make a swaybar and panhard to prevent that. The other two wheels are red centres so I need to paint, and was considering black with gold around the holes like ’75 anniversary wheels but with the front fitted they look good in black Quote
