Ah late 60s early 70s

Nice. I thought they'd be like my dyna with a beam axle.

I say do it!

In a similar boat running up zero searching for brake rotors for the 1600, looking like a run of those is going to get pushed through the CNC lathe.

Cost of 5 sets isn't much more than 1, sell a few sets, cover costs and learn something new

Nice. Casting as well? Am considering casting vented rotors for the brake upgrade side too. But more work sussing out of there is no logical off the shelf option first

Mine are solid and cast round in the right brew is available off the shelf, "should" be fairly straight forward.

Except for cleaning the machine out after

What does the factory steering arm look like? How much are you raising the stub?

Raising the stub 2" left the factory steering arm in stock location

Could turn the area of the caliper mounts into a solid fan/arc. That way it could be drilled to suit any caliper.

That's a good idea

less cooling and more unsprung weight, could raise eyebrows at the powers to be that sign the design of when comparing your design to the OG when all you are doing is shifting stub location up.

maybe put a couple differnt great caliper options there instead ?

True. The original plan was a factory mount and a 100mm option for later calipers. Would like to keep the unsprung weight the same.
