Test ride fully loaded with your gear. Then you'll know what works and what falls off. 

Check your chain. Carry spare oil if you need it.

At this stage im looking at driving my ute down from Te Awamutu. Could slide another bike on.

I would ride from Hawera, but I only have sports bikes there. Was hoping to bring my yellow DR, but there was a 3.8 on the floor behind it, so its still in storage. Il see when I can get my trailer back up
