I already have one of those outlets to go on. I havent put it on yet because I need to figure out what to put in the ports first plus get a heater core. Yowzer Posted December 31, 2025 Posted December 31, 2025 If it has swirl flaps, get rid of them, but I think you have the flapless version already which makes it easier. The intake manifold collects a fair bit of crud so pays to pull that off and clean it all out too. With the EGR gone it shouldn't build up again. The viscose fan hub is probably flogged out too, my preference is to ditch it and fit a good electric fan. Oh and blank off the EGR coolant ports rather than looping them, coz all that does is create a thermostat bypass haha. 1 1 Quote

I'm going to use the chev radiator as the pipes are on the correct sides and that has twin spal fans so the bmw fan can FRO happily. Which ones are the EGR coolant ports sorry? So many hoses and lines going everywhere it's a mess! Quote

The other one is on the radiator pipe going into the thermostat, that needs (I think) a 19mm cap. I'll grab photos tomorrow when I go visit my car. At the same time ordered a cast manifold, oil feed/drain kit and an air inlet adapter. $750 inc shipping iirc. It technically isnt holding the build up but after three months and nothing it could easily be this time next year and similar. The guy keeps saying he is sending it out that week and nothing. I feel like a cunt emailing, calling and texting. Other bigger places have it in stock and ready to ship (I checked) but lord knows if I can get a refund and fuck knows I dont want two of them. What to do...? Quote

Could always try the charge back trick saying they are kicking bucket and can't deliver product you ordered?
