First order of business, old m8 installed a hilux diff, he then decided the chassis rail was in the way so he cut the whole bottom off that, which means you cannot bolt up a fuel tank anymore, and it’s missing a bloody chassis rail

Next step add heater, loom dash etc

At this point I was reading the oldschool how to exhaust thread, in conclusion I needed a 3” exhaust.

luckily for him I work with the sensei himself @kprand I basically raided his scrap bin for his old half exhaust

Old mate also cut the seat mounts out and welded a half round piece of tube accross, so zinged some og ones back in

He also decided to do a pro move, he drilled the strut towers out so the old coilover setup could slip past and get free low, he then removed the studs from the top hats and used some good ol Bunnings hardware to fast the struts in,

once again I zinged some og steel back in

Bought the cheapest chinesium rad I could, kpr then changed outlets with his fancy new tig to suit,

I also whipped up a shroud for a electric fan

Then, I got repeatedly bullied by friends for my ride height, so I enlisted the dynamic duo of @kpr and everyone’s “favorite” Barry at mrp for some coilovers and rcas 
crisk proceeded to tig them to cert? Standard and give them a lovely livery

then slammed it on 175 50 13s

Then I went dooooooortin added some dhlas, ran good made 3hp more then the downdraft dcd weber so defo not a giant waste of money
