Rx7 s1 2 3 gearbox

Hey all so I brought a s2 gearbox and it didn’t come with the front cover I managed to track one down and went to install it and realised that it didn’t fit flush so I put a straight edge against bearings and it is out by a few mm. I then took my bell housing off and realised that the first gear brass sync ring wasn’t bedding properly and noticed the sync keys had fallen out and dropped in side reason for not been able to home it properly. I was asking to see if there is a way to remove the 2 front shafts with out having to dismantle the complete gearbox and other synchros  to re fit the keys cheers
