HEARING YOUR OWN EAR HOLE SIZZLE IS FUCKING NOT GREAT.

I once had a mig blob fuse onto my eyeball after a day under a car at work doing a rust job. After my eye involuntarily weeped for a few hours over dinner my flatmates forced me to walk across the road to the hospital and have it seen to. The doctor used a Dremel to grind it off, thankfully no permanent damage..

Wtf man. I thought twirling the filler rod straight up the nose gas welding was bad. Eyeballs is another level again

one thing to think of with mig welding, especially with a mig welder is the hot blobs can fall on the floor

if the floor is painted, this can leave burn marks in the paint!

just something to keep in mind, friend

Plz sir, tell us more about mig welding with a mig welder. Are those hot blobs of mig welder weld from the mig welder?

If you’ve gone this far you may aswell strip all the old underseal and epoxy the fresh steel underneath?

i probably should clarify that i have given it a once over with the wire wheel and the underseal and primer that's still on the car is really well stuck, the 3500PSI waterblaster didn't take it off so im calling that stuck.

i think id just be making work for no reason stripping off whats still there.

That’s the right order of doing things
What a beautiful shed. So much room for activities.
though with a painted floor it could be a showroom.

I fear with his newly acquired mig welder his hearty shag pile may catch fire

yea true.

but on the plus side it would act as a sort of paint stripper so that's good right?

i am very much relying on the Epotech 408 to work its magic and "seal" all the old stuff underneath it. it seems to have the ability to do this in small doses so lets roll the dice and try again.......

Be shit to primer and seal over that old underseal and then it reacts cause thats a bad day,
