Since you've got the bottom out may as well put a Holden crank in (rb30) and paint it red. then it can be closer in capacity and looks to your favourite inline 6.....

A thing i've noticed about bolts like those m10s you're talking about is when they bolt into alloy they have a coarser thread like 1.5, than when they bolt into steel and have 1 thread per mm or whatever it is.. i'm obviously no mechanic/engineer

Yeah you don't want fine threads into ally. Ask anyone who's attempted to do up Triumph semi-trailing arm studs (which also have the problem of being too small).

If you were masochistic you could helicoil them to M12x1.25. That would work alright.

Oh, and annoying that the skew in the part is away from the drain plug. Someone hasn't thunk that through...

Actually I think I got that completely wrong.. 1.5 would be a finer thread than 1 ay? Yeah because more threads per distance

Metric is distance between peaks from memory, so 1 is finer

yea look keyboard warriors will wank on for fucking weeks about what pitch should be used for what application but the point i didn't get across is that all the bellhousing bolts on this shit engine are course pitch.

all of them.

regardless of what material they go into. all the bolts, the ones into the cast steel block, the ones into the aluminum, all of them are 1.5. but only the ones around the bellhousing, oh, and the two that hold the clutch slave on because why not.

its not material based, which is why its so fucking stupid to put different pitch bolts in the bellhousing.

and no where else.

all the other bolts on the engine, no matter where they go or what material they go into, are 1.25 pitch.

and thats another reason why this nissan engine is fucking stupid.

Your top arms have offset camber bushes by the looks of it

That might be why it had more camber

Also f they have extra reinforcing welded in they might be nismo arms, they are painted silver usually

You can usually tell if they are nismo ones because the welding is shit but also they are expensive
