Isn't a big cause of shuffle from one turbo coming on boost sooner than the other?

Have read before about adjusting wastegates or adding a balance pipe between the 2 exhaust manifolds to smooth things out.

it does it at idle.

usually stops as you drive away but low load/ mid throttle/ coming into power it does it and the shuffle takes over the engine.

full jandles gets rid of it but its pretty weird.

no i cant, and i wouldn't want it anyway.

its now running well enough that i can log some data and actually try and make it better rather than just putting out fires (figuratively speaking) all the time.

i appreciate your input.

its still shuffling the turbos, its doing it less but its still doing it.

it also does it at idle which is pretty interesting.

currently i dont know how to fix it.

id like to avoid that if i could.

but, i can totally see how the twin setup ends up in the bin, its so fucking complex and convoluted and most of all you can get to anything to work on it.

im pretty keen to get it working with the twin (extremely old tech) HKS turbos and see what its like to drive.

Unhook the the first turbos wastegate (remove rod from flap and wire flap open erc) so it doesnt make boost. Setup 2nd turbo to targeted boost level.

Unhook 2nd turbo and repeat process done on first turbo.

This should hopefully help balance them

What window seal did you put in? Genuine ones are exorbitantly priced. Local glass man said he uses some kind of hilux seal, but there is a chance of breaking the window getting it out and they are hard to get.

I bought a genuine trim kit, came with the lower aluminium part, all the clips and whatnot.

Cost a lot.

May end up on the side of the motorway.......
