Leone Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 Hi Team, Not too sure how many Dunedin people are on here, any interest in a meetup and wee cruise somewhere? Cheers Quote
TimShadboltfan27 Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Sure us central gronks would be keen to come and look at your old cars that actually go 2 Quote
kiwi808 Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Dunedin is a bit of a stretch for a day trip but once upon a time we wondered around central Otago. Quote

I was thinking of the Vulcan, im pretty sure they had a cheap sunday roast still... might be a bit far for some people... i also was thinking of other older pubs around, IE the Beaumont hotel etc Im sure there is a triagulated point for the majority... mainly gauging interest to see if it would be worthwhile trying to arrange something. igor Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Beaumont is probably kind of central for many of us given how widely spread out the Otago/Southland crew is. 1 Quote
kiwi808 Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 What about a trip and tour of Hayes Engineering? Then a feed at a pub (possibly the Vulcan). Otherwise Chatto creek has a mean as garden bar. All the roads around there are empty and super fun for cruising around. Will also need access to petrol as the 7 is, um, well yeah. 5 Quote

kiwi808 Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 8th - 9th February is the NZ Grand Prix at Highlands so that weekend is out for me. Should we lock in the weekend after? Maybe do a Saturday trip to Hayes, then a cruise around the Toto? Saturday 15th February? Central guys convoy down, Dunners dudes convoy up, Invers peeps mossy on over? 2 Quote
