rdaum Posted August 20, 2025 Author Posted August 20, 2025 Interesting, do you know who has it now? Sounds like it is from the same run as mine. Luckily mine has an LSD and a few uprated bits in the box. Keen to know more about parts list as I am working on assumptions with a lot of my repairs. Quote
Popular Post rdaum Posted September 16 Author Popular Post Posted September 16 A happy-sad day over the weekend. Rover locked up solid. Suspect the history of synthetic 0-30 oil has caught up. Luckily I have just bought a Ford Performance 302 for it. Now to buy the adaptor bellhousing, almost the same price as the engine.. Onwards. 15 Quote

dmulally Posted September 17 Posted September 17 It's only money and even if it costs three times as much you'll be four times as happy with a 302w than a RV8. 7 Quote
rusty360 Posted September 18 Posted September 18 I might be wrong but you need to move this epic thing to the project threads rather than discussion. Such a cool car 5 Quote

Such a cool car Not being a dick but what's the difference? I haven't got time for 2 threads. Updates will be minimal. Chassis scrubbed sanded and repainted today. Next will be to re conduit the wiring in something less awful than the split convoluted horribleness 6 1 Quote

Then chat can happen here in discussion thread. Don't think anyone will really care, but it might be a nice way for you to be able to look back on your build one day sans the ramblings of the various reprobates here. 4 Quote
rdaum Posted September 20 Author Posted September 20 I should clarify, the old sound deadening with over spray, comes out from the cabin which is currently inaccessible while on the hoist. So i will be doing some tidying up of paint at a later date. Will replace it with a modern alternative that doesn't soak up nasties. 4 Quote

Bought from a mate after fresh rebuild. Has decent amount of receipts so fingers crossed. Sadly, yes. Some of it was pretty bad so it is a bit of a blessing to find some of the WTFs and correct them now. 3 Quote
