82 Honda Civic stolen

A friend of mine has had her 82 Honda Civic KU8861 stolen from a locked garage in Woolston (also took a 1992 champagne coloured Nissan Terrano rego ZU5858) would appreciate it if everyone kept an eye out for it (its an absolute minter)

Thanks Guys, I think its on the usual stolen car facebook pages but not "classic cars and wrecks of new zealand" so I've suggested they list it there as well.

 

This sort of shit really grinds my gears, my motorbike got nicked about 6 months ago (despite being a non runner) they left behind a tyre pump and a vape - police didn't even come out and check for finger prints or anything.

Yeah that's frustrating as hell. Mate had wooden dash pulled out of his Mk1 Jag in his garage, (effectively writing it off). They left pliers etc in car but no prints taken, even with a good idea who it was.
Bring back horse thief punishment I say...

Apparently it was spotted 10am on Sunday outside a liquor store with no plates, unfortunately the police aren't too interested

Personally I reckon a set of stocks setup corner of High and Cashel (Hacks square).  Perpertrators get locked in there for 6 hours (or so) during busy shopping days to be humiliated in front of the public.

That would honestly have more effect than a finger wagging from the police.

Sentence should be 6 hours but put the guy with the keys on one day per week

get a whole heap of them, put the stocks on a low-loader trailer, and parade them all around town............ with bukets of rotting fruit and fish guts for the public to hurl at the perps
