Todays issue.. she goes about 750m at 85kmh (WOT) then dies (as if it is starved for fuel)

After 20seconds I can kick her and she starts first go and does the same 750m later

At 50kmh this is not an issue

The carb is on an angle  (air filter pointed about 15 deg down) when bike is upright. Could this be an issue?

how tf it going that quick for a 50?  sounds like its emptying the bowl.  it could be a few things? electrical, like coil getting too hot but unlikely after such short distance/.  

check there is not blockages in the tank at fitting, sounds like a fuel supply issue.

The thing has a 125 in it.. hence speed.

I did put a rowdy exhaust on it. Might be causing issues. 

Will check fuel tank as filter looks fine

Check your flow rate from the tank, any kinks or restrictions in the hose/filter/tap and failing that check the float height in the carb. While in there, blow out your main jet.

Also check your tank is higher than the carb because gravity.

Lifan should run at full rabbit all day.

I just moved the fuel line it had a small kink in it and ran a less obnoxious exhaust and got a 10km ride, no issues including 3km wot in 4th.

Ithink it was the fuel line .

Maybe in the weekend. Its back to the Ubco for daily commuting and this in the weekend.

Check your fuel cap is venting properly too Glenn. Has caught me out before. Vapour lock man

So whats the go with this thing,  are you just being dishonest about the motor on paperwork?  did it bolt in or been modified to work? are u just rrelying ont he fact rego as 50 doesnt need wof and hoping a cop isnt clever to check?

seems like a relatively simple cheap thing but no doubt as cheap as it should be.

Are you looking for more clearance ? Do the current shocks have adjustable spring platforms ? Longer shocks will quicken the steering.
